Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendations for 2007 Toyota Tundra Long Bed
Question:
I have a 2007 tundra with a long bed. My questions is, will I need a slider to pull a fifth wheel trailer, 2010 cougar 27sab xlite? I checked the weights and they are good.

If by 'long bed' you mean an 8 foot bed, no you will not need a sliding fifth wheel hitch to tow your Cougar 27sab Xlite. However, if you have the 6-1/2 foot bed, you would indeed need a sliding hitch like the # 16516 Curt E16 fifth wheel hitch w/ slider you mentioned. The non-sliding version of the E16 is part # C16115.
This being said, the E16 uses a slide bar type jaw that will allow the fifth wheel's king pin to rattle and bang around in the hitch. A LOT. It will hold the king pin so it won't come loose, but it will allow movement that will be very evident during acceleration and braking. I'd rather see you get something that at least has a double jaw that does a better job of holding the king pin still. The Curt Q16, part # C16120 for the stationary model or # C16521 for the sliding version would work much better for you and would make towing your trailer a much more pleasant experience.
You'll also need the semi-custom install bracket/rail kit part # Kit C16304-200. If you wish to install a 7-way connector in the truck bed, you can do so using part # HM43397
