Can Air Bag Helper Springs be Tied Into Air Shock Compressor on a 2008 Cadillac Escalade
Question:
Can one of the air springs be added to the existing air compressor installed for air shocks on a 2008 cadillac escalade? The existing system only connects to the air shocks. I want to add air springs to the existing compressor with the auto level system already installed to help with a heavy load that the stock springs seem to not support. Or will I have to added another compressor for the air springs? Thanks

The air shocks on your 2008 Cadillac Escalade only have the capacity for a certain amount of air and the compressor system on the vehicle is designed for that. If you add volume by installing additional air bags the system may not function properly or in a way that you want it to.
Instead of using the air bags with the air shocks I recommend using Timbren helper springs, # TGMRYS4. With this system there is no maintenance and you will not have to worry about air compressors at all. It will also take some stress off the stock suspension so it works as it should and lasts longer. It's the perfect solution!
If you are interested in a set for the front I recommend # TGMFK15B. I have included a link to our help article on Timbren springs for you.
