What Parts Are Needed to Tow a Trailer with a 2008 Honda Accord
Question:
Hi, I am looking at part #24899. Could you tell me what else I need to make my 08 Accord ready to tow? I assume that I should pick up a ball and Ive been told itd be a good idea to get a 2 ball.

The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, item # C11496, would be an excellent choice for your 2008 Accord by Honda. This requires the recommended ball mount, part # 3593. The only other items you will need are trailer wiring and a hitch ball.
The wiring for your vehicle is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, item # 118420, which installs inline with the vehicle tail lights. We have a video detailing the installation (see link) for you to review prior to doing it yourself.
The hitch ball you choose should match the coupler of the trailer you plan to tow. If your trailer has a 2 inch coupler then the Tow Ready Ball, item # 19258, will work for you and if your trailer has a 1-7/8 inch coupler you will need the Tow Ready Ball, item # 19256.
