I will be glad to make some recommendations for your 2016 Nissan Frontier. Starting wit ha trailer hitch # 13241 is an excellent option and the hitch I recommend. it is rated for 500 pounds tongue weight and 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight (800/8,000 when using weight distribution). I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
Since it sounds like you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you have a couple of options. If you just need a 4-pole flat connector then I recommend # C56225. If you need a 7-Way connector I recommend # C56226. I have included some links to videos on the wiring as well.
