Will the Tow Ready Custom Fit Trailer Wiring for the 2007 Toyota Tacoma Fit On an X-Runner Model

Question:

I ordered a T-connector from the trailer accessories store for an 2007 Tacoma and it didnt fit my 2007 Tacoma X-runner. Then I went to Toyota and they said they didnt sell anything for an X-runner and that I had to get an after market hook up... Will this fit my X-runner? and if so do I need to splice and wires? if so Ill order additional splicing parts.

The Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring for the 2007 Toyota Tacoma, item # 118496, will provide a 4-Way connector at the rear of your 2007 Tacoma X-runner. There is no splicing or extra parts needed to install this harness, it simply plugs in-line with the tail light wiring and is routed to the rear bumper. You will need to attach the white ground wire to a clean rust and paint free chassis ground with the included self tapping screw.

You may want to consider using a mounting bracket and no drill adapter, item # 18144 and # 18140, to secure the 4-Way connector at the rear of the vehicle.
