Snow Chain Recommendation for 2016 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD with 265/70R16 Tires

Do I need 2.pairs of chains or can I just use chains on the back? Only going to use for on road in snow,

For a 4 wheel drive vehicle like your 2016 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 TRD with 265/70R16 all terrain tires ideally you would want to put chains all on 4 wheels since that will give you the best possible traction, but if only one set of chains is used you would want to put them on the rear axle.
The general rule for AWD or 4WD vehicle is that if one set of chains is used you want to put them on the main drive axle. For your vehicle that would be the rear axle.
The part # TH2004705265 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit your tire size and would be a great choice. I attached an install video that shows them being used on a similar Toyota truck as yours.
You will need to check the owners manual of your truck to determine if there are any restrictions on tire chain use.
