How to Install Vision X Solstic Solo Pod Light Kit SRECEIVERS1160X2
Question:
Hello, Does the wiring harness come with the adapter to connect to a 2016 jeep wrangler. I viewed the parts and I see it comes with the wiring for the lights, but I did not see a y-adapter that will connect directly to the hitch outlet. Thanks for any assistance.

The Vision X Solstic Solo Pod Light Kit # SRECEIVERS1160X2 includes two pigtail harnesses that plug in to the lights themselves at their mating industry-standard Deutsch connectors. The other ends of the harnesses have two pigtail leads to allow for electrical connection to the host vehicle.
Vision X offers a harness # HARNESSXIL that is 10-feet in length and that can be used to control one light.
If you want to wire these lights into your trailer connector's running light circuit, you can tap into that by using a quick splice connector like # SWC501915-1. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to find the wire that carries a signal only when the headlights are on. Splice that wire to the red wire on the Vision X harness and ground the black wire to the vehicle.
If you prefer you could wire in a 7-way plug like Optronics # A7WCB that would allow you to unplug the lights easily. The linked photo will show you which pins to use for power and ground.
