I checked the install instructions for the DeeZee Rough Steps # DZ15321A-15336 for your 2013 Ram 2500 and there is no drilling required. Basically you install crimp nuts in the truck frame to provide attachment points for the mounting brackets. I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions.
