Recommended Air Suspension Kit For 2007 Chevrolet Silverado With Lift Kit

Question:

Looking for a rear axle air helper system for my 2007.5 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and I also need to know what spacers I will need for installation, because I have a 6inch suspension lift on the truck ?

I called my contact at Firestone and asked about your 2007 Silverado with the lift kit. They said that the best way to find out which spacer kit you need is to get the Air Springs and after mocking up the upper and lower brackets you can measure to make sure you get the correct spacers for your truck. Although you said you have a 6 inch lift, my contact said there was probably some degree of lift on the vehicle already and getting spacers for a 6 inch lift kit would not be a sure fit. I want to make sure you get the correct kit and spacers for your truck. I have attached a link to the spacers we offer for the Firestone Ride-Rite air suspension kits you can take a look at. As you can see, we offer spacers that will work with Ride-Rite air suspension on vehicles with a 2,3,4,5, or 6 inch lift installed.

The air suspension I recommend is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2250. This kit includes all of the items needed for installation. Installing an air suspension kit will not increase the load-carrying capacity of your truck and is designed to work with a properly working suspension.

To be able to adjust the amount of air you put in the springs from the comfort of your truck cab I recommend an air compressor like part # F2158. This includes a gauge that gets installed under the dash and gives you control over the amount of air in the springs.
