Must the exhaust be lowered to install this product 75684 on a 2010 Santa Fe?

According to the instructions, you will not need to lower the exhaust system to install the Draw-Tite item # 75684, on a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. It bolts up to the vehicle frame and fits around the bottom of the exhaust.
