Best Trailer Hitch Comparison and Recommendation for a 2016 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Looking at 2 inch hitchs four a 2016 Mazda CX-5. I see a couple choices. What are the differences between the hitches? They all appeared to be about the same. At this time the trailer will be used to haul my thule bike rack. But maybe used in the future to haul a small trailer

For your 2016 Mazda CX-5 there are two Class III hitch choices available. There is the Curt Hitch part # C13315 and the Draw Tite hitch part # 76138.
Both have the same capacities, install the exact same, but since Curt requires the use of a stabilizer strap, # 18050, any time you carry a non-supported load like your Thule bike rack I would rule that one out for you.
