Using Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch on 2015 Ram 3500 w/ Factory Tow/Prep Package

I have a Reese 16k fifthwheel hitch and I was wondering it would work with the Reese rails for a 2015 ram 3500 that has factory mounts in bed

In order to install your Reese 16K 5th wheel hitch in the factory tow package pucks that are located in the truck bed, you'd need to us the Reese Ram Tow Prep Package Adapter, part # RP30154. The adapter would install into the pucks, and would provide the industry standard base rails to provide an attachment point for your hitch.

Keep in mind that if you have a short bed truck, you'll need to use a sliding hitch or a Sidewinder to gain enough clearance between the cab and the fifth wheel to make turns safely. I'll link you to an FAQ article that explains how the Sidewinder works. The Sidewinder model you'll need will depend on the manufacturer and model number of your OEM pin box.
