It is best to confirm the axle capacity before purchasing brake assemblies. There should be a sticker or label on the axles with information such as their capacity.
If you do find that your axles are 7,000 pound axles, I recommend using the Dexter 12 Inch Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly, left hand side # 23-464 and right hand side # 23-465. These brake assemblies automatically adjust to provide optimum performance and braking power. In addition to eliminating the need for brake adjustments, the Nev-R-Adjust help reduce stopping distances by 50 percent more than other brakes, as well has help reduce tow vehicle brake wear. The assemblies fit 12 inch x 2 inch 7,000 pound axles.
I have attached a review and an installation video of these brakes for you.
