Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo
Question:
Hello, I see this hitch fits a 2014 Hyundai Veloster standard, but does it fit the Turbo also? I assume it does but wanted to be sure.

Yes, Curt trailer hitch # C11254 will also fit your 2014 Hyundai Veloster turbo model. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
If you want to tow with the hitch then the correct ball mount is # C45521. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring you can use # C56153.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements. The Veloster's center exhaust is also a factor. Exhaust can melt hitch mounted accessories.
