Troubleshooting Hitch Lock that Won't Turn All the Way to Release
Question:
the lock seems frozen, cannot get the key to turn more than a quarter in , what can I do to get the lock off.

I would recommend hitting the lock with some WD40 to try and get the lock core to release. Use the straw that comes with it to direct the lube into the core as much as possible. You may have to let it soak for a few minutes.
Working the key in and out of the core several times can help it penetrate and free up the stuck portion of it.
