Availability of Euro-Style Ball Mount for Curt Class I Hitch Installed on 2009 Toyota Carolla
Question:
I would like to use the C11265 hitch on my 2009 Corolla Sport. Is there a Euro-style shank/ball combination C45561? that will fit this class I hitch and has a permanently mounted 1 and 7/8inch ball. Oh, the rise needs to be 3 to 3.5 Thanks so much.

The Curt # C45561 Euro-Style ball mount you referenced is exactly what you'll need. The ball mount will work fine with your # C11265 Class I hitch once it's installed. Keep in mind that the ball mount carries a 3500 lb towing/350 lbs tongue weight rating, but that your hitch is only rated for 2000 lbs towing/ 200 lbs tongue weight. Because of that difference in capacity between the hitch and the ball mount, you'll need to abide by the rating of the lower rated component, which would be the hitch in this case. The ball mount does indeed feature a 1-7/8 inch ball that's permanently mounted. The hitch pin, part # F-4 is sold separately.
You'll also need a trailer wiring harness like part # 118459.
If you'll be using the rack for hitch mounted accessories as well, keep in mind that Curt's warranty requirements stipulate that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050. I've linked you to a video showing the hitch being installed, plus a video explaining how the stabilizing strap works.
