Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller Recommendation and Install for 2015 GMC Canyon

How do you install the P3 in a 2015 GMC Canyon complete with tow package? Is there a plug in brake control connector the simply plugs into a vehicle connector or do you have to splice wires somewhere under the dash?

The Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 can be installed in your 2015 GMC Canyon with the factory tow package and 7-way connector. This is what most consider to be the nicest brake controller around so I would highly recommend it for you.

No plug is present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
