Lengthening Power Wire on T-1 Vehicle Wiring Harness Part HM40615 for 2002 Ford Windstar

1. What is gauge of single blak wire running to + side of Battery ? 2. This Coil Of Black Wire Not Long Enough To go from Pass Side Rear To Dr Side Front Of Vehicle.. OK to Make Crimp Splice With Same Gauge Wire ?

The wire included with the Hopkins Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # HM40615 is 12 Gauge. You can certainly lengthen the wire running to the battery using the same gauge wire and a crimp connector. We offer the wire by the foot as part # 12-1-1 and heat shrink butt connectors as part # DW05745-5.
