HA100400B I did not receive any operations instructions. Does turning the knob adjust brake action?

The Brake Controller part # HA100400C control handle can be used to adjust the rate of application of the trailer brakes. There is a knob on the side of the controller and rotating the knob the counter-clockwise will increase trailer brake sensitivity.
