To install the Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11312, on your 2007 Mustang V6, you will not need to do any drilling. I have included a link to the installation instructions below for you to check out.
To complete your towing set up, I recommend adding a drawbar, hitch ball, locking hitch pin, and trailer wiring. The recommended drawbar is the Draw-Tite Drawbar, # 3592. This would be used in the rise position.
For a hitch ball, you can use hitch ball # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2-inch diameter) depending on your towing needs. For a locking hitch pin, I recommend the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, # e98879, to secure your hitch accessories and deter theft.
The trailer wiring for your Mustang is the 4-Pole Hardwire Kit Including Circuit Tester, # 18252. I have included a video showing a typical installation of this kit below.
