Trailer Brake Controller Installation on 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU with a flat 4 prong. My trailer is a 7 blade and I already have the electric brake controller. My question what product to I use for the easiest installation.

Some vehicles will have a factory equipped connector under the dash that makes installing a brake controller a plug and play operation, however Jeep didn't provide that feature on your 2008 Unlimited. You can still install a brake controller pretty easily.
Since you already have a brake controller and a functional 4-pole on your 2008 Wrangler Unlimited, all you'll need is our Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. The kit includes just about everything needed to install the brake controller, an adapter to convert the 4-pole to a 7-way, all hardware, wire and circuit breakers. You might need a pigtail for your brake controller, unless it already has the blue, white, red and black wires exiting the rear of the controller. If your controller doesn't have wires exiting the back of the controller, and you need a wiring pigtail, just reply with the manufacturer and model of your brake controller, and I'd be happy to suggest something.
I've linked you to the instructions for the # ETBC7 kit, some helpful FAQ articles and an install video that will walk you through the installation.
