Adapter for Fastway Self-Locking Aluminum Ball Mount to Fit 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Receivers
Question:
I purchased an aluminum self locking ball mount for a two inch receiver this last year for a Tundra. I recently upgraded to a GMC 2500 and it came with a 2.5 inch receiver. I wanted to use my self locking ball mount but the locking pins are too short to fit in the adaptor and the receiver. Do you have any recommendations? thanks in advance,

It sounds like you have a Fastway Self-Locking, Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount, such as # DTALBM6600, or the discontinued Fastway Locking, Aluminum Ball Mount, such as # DTLBM8600.
In order to fit a 2 inch receiver Fastway ball mount into a 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver, you will want to use the Fastway Stainless Steel Adapter Sleeve with Hitch Lock # DTADP35. The adapter sleeve is also available without a lock as # DTADP25-SS.
