Could the Ramp Spring Part # CB250D96SHD Replace a Smaller Ramp Spring
Question:
2005 road force by wells cargo trailers my bar that holds the springs measurses 87 3/4 the space from out to out of cable wheels is 83 3/4 does this spring assembly 96inch work or there is a diferrent one that you do have ?

The closest ramp spring we have to what you have is the part # CB250D96SHD that you referenced which is slightly larger than your current setup but could still be made to work. It can be cut down to a minimum length of 80 inches.
We strongly recommend having a professional overhead door technician install the spring for you. The spring needs to be tensioned, and if it lets loose accidentally it would fling tools at high enough velocity to easily kill someone.
