Recommended Tekonsha Plug-in Brake Controller Adapter On 2014 Ford F-350
Question:
I have a Prodigy 90185 brake controller my father in law gave me. Never used. I have a 2014 F350 gas 6.2. Do not like the way the Ford brake controller seems to work. Wanted to try hooking this up. What wiring harness does it take and do you sell them? What is the cost? Thanks,

Since you are replacing the Ford brake controller, the installation will be a snap.
You will just need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter, part # 3034-P. This simply plugs into the port that is located beneath the dash of your F-350. I have attached a photo that shows the location of the port and how you get to it. To reach the connector, first locate the notch in the access panel in the center of the dash, near the passenger side. Using a trim panel puller, carefully pry the panel out and undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. You will find the mating connector behind this portion of you dashboard.
