What Circuit on Trailer Wiring Power the Interior Lights of a Trailer

Question:

I bought the adapter to go from a 4 flat to a 7 round to pull a camper trailer. Do I need to wire in the 12v to my car batterie for the lights in the trailer to work? As of now I have zero lights when its all connected and tested everything and I have power to all connections

The lights in your trailer would be either powered by a battery or from the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way. If you didn't connect this circuit and the lights aren't working then you will need to run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot), to the 12 volt circuit of your 7-way up to the positive terminal of the battery through a breaker like part # 9510.
