Installing Wiring in Chrysler Town and Country with Stow and Go Seats
Question:
I have installed a P/N 75170 Custom-Fitted Hitch Kit on my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Stow and Go seating, along with a P/N 118300 Quick Connect Kit with 4-way connector the connector is stowed in the jack stowage compartment, as recommended by your installation instructions. I am now in the process of installing a P/N ETBC7 Brake Controller 7- and 4-Way Installation Kit, in preparation for installing a Hopkins brake controller. My question is this: How do your installers recommend routing the 4-way connector and wiring inside the car so as to mate with the 4-way connector beneath the car? I would be very surprised if this is the first time these two kits have been installed in a car of this type, so please direct me to a video, or written instructions.

To route the 4-way flat connector from the # 118300 Harness inside the car, so that it plugs into the 4-way flat connector beneath the car you will need to find a hole in the floor of the rear cargo area of your 2005 Chrysler Town and Country and route the 4-way out through the bottom. You may have to drill a hole if there is no access there, but there should be a rubber plug or grommet that would allow you to route the 4-way through the floor of the trunk.
I attached an install video that shows the # ETBC7 being installed in a similar vehicle for you to check out as well.
