What is Needed To Choose Replacement Axle for Homemade Trailer

I have a home made trailer made with mobile home axles IT has the half brake backer plate can trust be converted to a more standard arrangement

You will need to replace the axle. I have linked you to our axle page. To determine which axle is compatible with your trailer, you will need to know the weight of the trailer, the hub face to hub face dimension and the distance between the spring seat centers and bolt pattern of the wheels.
I'll link you to an FAQ that shows how to measure for bolt pattern, as well as to a diagram showing the measurements I'll need.
