Will 2012 Honda Civic and 2015 Honda Accord Use Same Trailer Hitch
Question:
Recently traded cars and removed hitch and wiring harness from 2012 Honda Civic. Is it possible that this same hitch can be used on my 2015 Accord? Sure would save me some time and money!

The 2012 Honda Civic and 2015 Honda Accord would not be able to use the same hitch, I'm sorry to say.
If you'll be using the hitch only as an attachment point for a bike rack or other hitch accessory, Curt offers a reasonably priced Class I hitch for your Accord, part # C11496.
For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use part # 19256 or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball. You'll also need a trailer wiring harness # 118596 for vehicles with incandescent taillights or # C56173 for vehicles with LED taillights.
Curt makes a fine hitch, but their warranty requirements state that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 MUST be used for all non-trailer loads.
I've linked you to install instructions as well as to an install video for the hitch and one of the wiring harnesses I've recommended.
