Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller to a 2009 Toyota Tacoma with 4-Way

I installed the following product years ago on my tacoma. C55513 Is it safe to add this brake controller and universal kit to this setup?

Yes, you can use the 4- and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7 with Curt trailer wiring harness # C55513 to install a brake controller on your 2009 Toyota Tacoma. I have included a couple of links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
