Weight Distribution System Recommendation for Setup with 900 lbs Tongue Weight
Question:
My travel trailer is roughly 5500 lbs loaded. Tongue weight is 620 lbs, plus occupant is 115 lbs, plus hitch is about 110 lbs for an approximate total of about 845 lbs. can I get away with the 2000 lb version of this or do I need to get the 5000 lb version?

Since you are planning on towing a trailer I have a better solution for you than suspension enhancement. A weight distribution system would be a much better choice. Instead of just leveling the suspension a WD system will also give you better braking and handling characteristics since it actually will distribution some of the hitch tongue weight to the front axle of the vehicle.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.
For a tongue weight of 845 lbs the best system we offer is the Strait Line part # RP66084 that has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs - 1,200 lbs and features the only sway control on the market that works to prevent sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
