Trailer Suspension Hanger Kit for Two 2-3/8 Inch Axles and 25-1/4 Inch Leaf Springs

Question:

I have 2 2.375inch axles with 25.25inch leaf springs @ 1.75inch wide that I got used. I am pairing them up with some 255/75/17 wheels for a custom trailer. What is the best trailer suspension kit for my setup to allow for adequate tire clearance to trailer and adjacent wheel.

A suspension hanger kit won't have anything to do with the space between the tires and the trailer frame but can affect the front to back space between the tires. I recommend kit # APT5. On it the center to center distance between axles is 33-1/2 inches (suggested) and since your tire size of 255/75-15 has an overall diameter of 28.6 inches then there will be plenty of space. I have included a link to our help article on double-eye spring suspension for you.
