Installation and Capacity of Draw-Tite Class III Receiver Part # 41537 for 2001 Susuki Grand Vitara

I am looking to add a trailer hitch to my 2001 Susuki Grand Vatara. I want to tow lawn equipment with it. My question is this. Who can install these and what type of towing capacity will I have?

The Draw-Tite Class III Receiver can be installed by anyone with average mechanical ability. I will supply a link to the installation instructions below. If the installation is something you do not feel comfortable doing yourself, any trusted mechanic should be able to install it for you. The hitch itself is rated for 3500 lbs towing and 350 lbs of tongue weight (downward force) but the vehicle might have a lower capacity. In my research, I saw figures ranging from 1500 to 3300 lbs listed as the towing capacity for that vehicle. Your owners manual should be able to supply the towing capacity for your particular vehicle.
