Will a Curt Trailer Hitch and Wiring from a 2011 Toyota RAV4 Fit a 2015 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Hi can I use the trailer hitch that I bought for my 2011 rav4 on my new 2015 rav4? Also what about the wiring harness? Is it the same both vehicles?

The trailer hitch you purchased for your 2011 RAV4 was # C13149 and it does also fit the 2015 Toyota RAV4! But you will need to replace the mounting hardware because it is meant to only be torqued down once. For replacement hardware you will need # RHK. Enter the hitch number and choose Curt from the manufacturer drop down menu where indicated on the page to get the right hardware.
The wiring harnesses are NOT the same between 2011 and 2015. For the 2015 I recommend harness # 118578. I have linked a video showing how the wiring installs and one for the hitch on a 2015 RAV4.
