Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid
Question:
I have a light utility trailer and need a hitch. What happens to the airflow panel on the underside of the car? Has anyone actually put a hitch on a 2015 Accord Hybrid? Thanks.

We haven't had the chance to install a trailer hitch on a hybrid model of the 2015 Honda Accord so I don't have a video. Apparently according to at least 1 customer there is an air dam underneath that will need to be trimmed but that is not covered in the instructions for any of the hitches so it is a situation where you just have to use the hitch as a template to trim away the necessary area.
Since you want to tow you should consult the vehicle owners manual, especially for a hybrid, to make sure it is permissible to do so.
For a trailer hitch I recommend # 24899. The recommended ball mount is # 3593. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.
For trailer wiring, if the Accord does NOT have LED tail lights use # 118596. If it does have LED tail lights use # C56173.
