What is the best fifth wheel hitch for my truck? 2011 Ford F-250 4x4

I have some recommendations for you, depending on some of the specifications of your 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty. If you have a short bed truck, I recommend a sliding hitch to gain the necessary clearance while turning. Starting in 2011, Ford began offering a factory fifth wheel tow package. If your pickup has a factory fifth wheel tow package, you can use a fifth wheel hitch designed for the package, or an adapter for a standard hitch.
If you have a short bed pickup and do not have a factory fifth wheel tow package, I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034 with the custom installation kit # DM8552000-71. This hitch will automatically slide to give you 14 inches more inches of clearance for turning. This automatic sliding feature eliminates the need to get out of your truck multiple times in order to make a turn. This Demco Hijacker is rated for a gross towing weight of 18,000 pounds and has a vertical load limit of 4,500 pounds. Above bed rails are used for this fifth wheel hitch.
If you have a short bed with a factory fifth wheel tow package, I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fifth Wheel Hitch # DM8550024. This hitch offers all of the same features as the Demo Hijacker I previously mentioned, but will work with your factory tow prep package.
If your pickup has an 8 foot bed and does not have the factory fifth wheel tow package, I recommend the Reese Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928 with custom install kit # RP50026-58. This fifth wheel hitch is rated for a gross towing weight of 20,000 pounds and a vertical load limit of 5,000 pounds. The Reese M5 features a single-jaw system, offering more jaw-to-king-pin contact and minimizing jarring and chucking. This fifth wheel hitch uses above bed rails.
If you have an 8 foot bed with a factory tow prep package, you will want the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156 to use with the Reese hitch. This adapter will allow you to use the standard Reese fifth wheel hitch with your factory tow prep package. If you do not want to use an adapter, you can use the Reese M5 Series Fifth Wheel Hitch # RP30921. This hitch is rated for a gross towing weight of 20,000 pounds with a vertical load limit of 5,000 pounds. It is important to remember that regardless of your hitch's rating, you are limited by the capacity of your truck.
