Trailer Hitch Recommendations for a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
can you recommend a hitch for a 2008 hyundai santa fe that is class I or II and has a 1 1/4 receiver ?

Expert Reply:
None of our suppliers offer a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch for your vehicle. They all offer the 2 inch trailer hitch with a 3,500 lb tow capacity and tongue weight capacity like the Draw-Tite Class III, part # 75471. The fact that there isn't a Class I or II hitch available is actually advantageous...there's a much better selection of hitch mounted accessories that are available for Class III hitches. If you happen to have a class I or ll compatible accessory you're wanting to use, you can use an adapter sleeve like # HT02.
If you'll use the hitch for towing, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system.
