Will Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Hitch Rack # Y02443 Clear Rear Spare Tire on Toyota RAV4

I own a RAV4 with the spare tire on the back. Would a Yakima Holdup 2 bike rack 2 inch hitch work with this vehicle?

It's easy to find out if a specific hitch-mount bike carrier like the Yakima HoldUp 2 # Y02443 will fit properly at the rear of a particular vehicle. All you need to do is take one simple measurement on the car and compare this to the bike rack's clearance distance from its hitch pin hole.

A hitch such as Curt # C13149 will mount on a RAV4 so that its hitch pin hole is between 3-inches and 5-1/2-inches from the back edge of the tire. This varies by vehicle model year and since I do not know your RAV4's model year you can refer to the linked article to see how to measure your required clearance to enable good bike rack fit.

Since the Yakima HoldUp 2 has a generous 7-inches of clearance from the hitch pin hole even when it is folded up for storage it should work great on your RAV4.
