Cargo Basket Fit for 2008 Honda Element

I have a 2008 Honda Element. Im interested in the Rhino Rack xtray. The small version seems too narrow to carry much so Im interested in the lg version. The width seems perfect for the element crossbar width of 44inch but Im worried about the length. The cross bars are fixed at 28inch on center so the rack would hang off 14inch over each crossbar. Would that be too much overhang?

The Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket # RMCB02 will work well for your 2008 Honda Element. Rhino-Rack has verified that this cargo basket will fit on crossbar spreads between 25-1/2 and 43 inches. The overhang on your 28 inch spread will not be a problem.
