Installing Rhino Rack Roof Rack on 2012 Toyota Venza with Naked Roof

How does this roof rack attach to the vehicle? I do not have existing rails or crossbars.

When installing the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack with aero crossbars using parts # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK114, the clamps will secure the locking legs/rack system to the roof of your 2012 Toyota Venza (see included video). The clamps mount to the roof-rack legs with theft-deterrent bolts. A special tool (included) is needed to tighten the bolts. Tightening the bolts secures the vehicle-specific clamps to the legs and the legs to your vehicle's roof. It's that simple!

I have included an installation video of this rack being installed on a Nissan Sentra. The vehicle is different but the installation will be similar.
