Recommended Roof Mount Cargo Boxes For 2014 Cadillac Escalade With Factory Roof Rack

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box, part # TH629706 will work great with the crossbars on your 2014 Escalade. You can take a quick measurement to make sure the rear hatch will open when the cargo box is installed. You can measure the distance from the center of the front crossbar on your roof rearward to the seam between the roof and the rear hatch. This is called 'front clearance'. For the # TH629706 cargo box the required front clearance is 47-1/2 inches. If your crossbars can be moved, you may move the front crossbar as far forward as possible.
This cargo box has 16 cubic feet of storage and measures 77 x 36 x 17 inches. This has a dual-side opening lid that allows access to the box from either side of your Escalade. This cargo box has a weight capacity of 165 lbs, and weighs 42 lbs.
I also recommend the Wheel Mount Tire Step, part # HE4040. This slips easily over the tire on your Escalade and allows you a little easier access to the center of the cargo box when on the roof. This tire step folds flat when not in use for easy storage and has a weight capacity of 400 lbs.
