Spare Tire Carrier Recommendation for Front of Trailer

Question:

When you say Off Set tire carrier, what does Off Set mean? What I am trying to come up with is a straight mount into the front of a enclosed trailer. The tire could rest on the tongue of the trailer itself and the holder would be bolted thru the wall. Any suggestions? Thanks,

The Dutton Lainson Spare Tire Carrier part # DL22145 that you referenced has the terms "extra offset," in the title because the mounting surface is pushed out pretty far away from where the mount would attach to a trailer frame.

If I am understanding the setup you are looking to do on your trailer I think a U-bolt carrier like the part # CE22007Z-11050-2 would work well for you. You would install the u-bolt through the wall of your trailer and then attach your spare on the other side of it.
