Recommended Trunk-Mount 2-Bike Rack for 1999 Honda Accord LX or EX with Rear Spoiler

2 bikes, looking for a trunk mounted bike rack. Would Thule TH911XT work?

Cars like your 1999 Honda Accord that have a rear trunk-level spoiler are a challenge to fit with a trunk-munt bike carrier. Spoilers can interfere with the mounting straps for bike racks. Luckily the clever folks at Thule have approved the # TH911XT as a fit for the Accord Sedan. It minimizes the strain on your spoiler.

If you want to add some security for your rack you can use the Passive Security Strap # TH533 and if you care to add a cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack you can use # e98891. I use this cable lock on my bike and its long enough to be very easy to wind through the wheels and frame. if you'll transport bikes without a top frame tube you might want to add an adapter bar like # HRBA-PRO to help keep such bikes level on the carrier.
