Hello, neighbors. I'm Steve here at etrailer.com. Today, we're looking together at this gorilla tarp. It's a 12 by 12 weave, and it's 6 foot by 8 foot, and it's red. Now, folks, this very nice all-purpose tarp will cover and protect your gear from all the elements. It's got a very, very nice strong nylon strands that are woven horizontally and vertically in a very nice tight 12 by 12 weave for increased strength.
It's got a nice three-layer hem on the edges and it's got two rows of reinforced stitching. You can kinda see that red on red stitch in there. It's gonna ensure a superior grommet attachment strength. So, you got your grommet here and the grommets obviously are compressed together. But having that stitching on both sides is gonna help prevent it from tearing out and everything like you see on some other ones out there.
The surface, as you can see, is nice and shiny. It's got a polyethylene coating that helps to resist UV rays, harsh weather, and it's also gonna help it prevent shrinking, dry rotting, mildew that can happen over long periods of time. Now, the grommets are a nice corrosion-resistant grommet, and all the corners here with the tarp have a nice, heavy-duty stitched in D-grommet or D-ring, and that's gonna provide a nice, tight, convenient corner tied-out point, and you can kinda see that back and forth X weaving there on the tarp. And that's on both sides of that. And you can just see they've gone to town with all that stitching.
So, I like that. It looks like it's really, really super thick. They folded it over a couple times and stitched it back together. So again, folks. Eight mils thick, 12 by 12 weave, 6 foot wide by 8 foot long.
