Is BrakeRite Adapter Still Needed with BrakeRite Actuator for 2014 Chevy with OEM Brake Controller

With the complete design change on the 2014 Chevy/GMC, is the Titan BrakeRite EHB Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controller, part # T4845900 still needed with the Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator T4813102? On the Fords no longer need

I spoke with my contact at Titan and he said the 2014 Chevrolets still requires the Titan BrakeRite EHB Adapter, part # T4845900, in order to work with Chevy/GMC OEM brake controllers and the Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit, part # T4813102. Fords, however, no longer need the adapter.
