What are the instructions for cutting the air damn on a Ford 2015 Super duty for the lower mounting bracket?

For installation of the Westing HDX Grille Guard part # 57-2375 there is a note in the installation instructions that say:

NOTE the lower plastic valance must be trimmed to allow clearance of the mounting bracket. It's not much trimming, but when you go to install the lower bracket of the guard you will need to trim the lower fascia a bit to get the bracket to fit.
