Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2006 Honda Element
Question:
I noticed you show a plug and play wire harness Tow Ready 118465 but its listed for the 2007 and newer honda elements but luckily i went out today and checked our 2006 honda element and then watched your websites install video to confirm what connections I have in my Honda and the 2007 connectors under the dash and in the rear spare tire area all match the connections we have on our 2006. Any reason it wont work since I have all the same connections required to install it?

If the port is there and active on your 2006 Honda Element there is no reason the Tow Ready wiring harness part # 118465 wouldn't work. You will want to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to verify that the pins of the connector on your vehicle are active.
I attached a link to the install video you referenced as well.
Otherwise you would need the # 119178KIT.
