Using Andersen Camper Leveler # AM3604 on Tandem Axle Trailer with Closely-Spaced Wheels

Question:

Im thinking about buying this Andersen levelers but not sure if they will work on my trailer. I have a 23foot trailer with double axle but only about 2.5 inches of separation between the tires. Im concern i wont have enough clearance to fit them in between the tires. I have read in one of your QAs that you can cut it to fit but also concern i have to cut it too much to make it fuctional. please advice!!! thanks.

The Andersen Camper Leveler # AM3604, which is sold as a set of one leveler and one chock, will work on your tandem axle trailer even if the gap between the tires is only 2-1/2-inches.

If you refer to the linked video and photo you'll see that the leveler does not need to fit vertically between your two closely-spaced tires to work properly as a leveling device.

In fact the two pieces, the leveler and chock, can be used together in another configuration to allow both sides of a tire to be immobilized, as shown in the photo.

For reference I linked our main page for all wheel stabilizer products.
