Trailer Jack Recommendation for a Trailer that Drags A-Frame Jack on Steep Driveways
Question:
I have a steep drive I back into with my trailer and it keeps catching the tongue jack. Do you have a side winding jack that is as close to 4 1/2inch from bottom of the mounting plate to bottom of tube as possible? Trailer is a 1995 Prowler, weight approx. 6000lbs. Thanks

The shortest jack we have that is designed to fit an A-Frame trailer mounting bracket is the part # PS1401000303 that has a distance of 5-1/2 inches from the bottom of the mounting bracket to the bottom of the jack when fully retracted.
A better solution for you would be to go with a swivel jack that can swivel out of the way when and not interfere at all with your driveway.
A jack like the part # PSEJ10000101 would work well. This jack will attach to the frame of your trailer and will allow you to pull the pin and swivel it out of the way when not needed. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
