Cargo Bag Recommendation for a Kia Forte with Naked Roof

One of my favorite cargo bags is the Rightline Gear Sport 2 Rooftop Cargo Bag, # RL100S20. This bag measures 44 inches long x 36 inches wide x 19 inches tall with 15 cubic feet of storage which is a great size for your 2014 Kia Forte. I would not recommend going much larger because it can be difficult to stabilize a cargo bag if it is too big for the roof. Most of the larger bags were primarily designed for larger vehicles such as vans and SUVs.
Because the bag will be in direct contact with your roof, we recommend cleaning the roof and the underside of the bag if you will be taking extended trips with the bag installed.
To install the bag, you will simply open the car doors, run the front and rear straps through the car and attach them inside of the car. Once the straps are secure, you can shut the doors on the straps. The door seal will allow the doors to shut with the straps in place.
