Recommended Wiring Harness to Add 7 Way to 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:

I have a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee limited and looking to put a trailer wiring harness from tail lights to adapt to a 7 way guess it is a Chrysler style outlet. it will plug directly into it. I have the outlet just need wiringwiring from lights to outlet.

It sounds like you have the square Chrysler connector behind your bumper. If that is the case you will want to use the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector # HM42190. This kit lets you add a 7-way, RV-style trailer connector to your Jeep Grand Cherokee with a factory tow package. This harness plugs into your existing wiring, and the 7-way connector plugs into harness. No cutting or splicing is necessary.
